
This national advocacy campaign was launched in April 2008 by the Australian Major Performing Arts Group, in association with Live Performance Australia and the Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance, and its campaign partners.
From the local community hall to world stage, Australia’s performing arts industry is helping to nurture brilliant Aussie talent and foster national pride. Australian Major Performing Arts Group and its partners believe it is important that the significant contribution of the performing arts is recognised and supported by all Australians.
