We All Play a Part Progress

This national advocacy campaign was launched in April 2008 by the Australian Major Performing Arts Group, in association with Live Performance Australia and the Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance, and its campaign partners.

From the local community hall to world stage, Australia’s performing arts industry is helping to nurture brilliant Aussie talent and foster national pride. Australian Major Performing Arts Group and its partners believe it is important that the significant contribution of the performing arts is recognised and supported by all Australians.

Thanks to your help we have achieved some significant ground since the campaign began in 2008 including:

We All Play a Part has reached over 6 million Australians in print, radio and online media coverage.
We All Play a Part has won the support of several key Parliamentary advocates at a State and Federal Level.
The campaign has engaged over 1,000 supporters online and this number continues to grow.
Our Facebook page is growing daily.
The campaign has developed key strategic partnerships with other representative bodies, including the Australian Performing Arts Centre Association, the Australian Local Government Association, Regional Arts Australia, Country Arts WA, Live Performance Australia and the Australian Children’s Music Foundation, as well as Teacher Networks.
